How to Choose the Right Vocational Course For You

August 14, 2026

With so many training options available, picking the right one can feel overwhelming. Here’s a simple way to think about it.

Start with what you enjoy working with your hands on. If you like fixing things, electronics or mobile repair might suit you. If you enjoy building and construction, look at carpentry, masonry, or plumbing. If you’re drawn to people and hospitality, our cooking, baking, or barista programs might be a better fit.

Next, think about your timeline. Our short courses run 160 hours, while more in-depth training runs 390 hours — choose based on how quickly you want to enter the workforce versus how deep you want your skills to go.

Finally, don’t hesitate to visit us or call our office. Our advisors are happy to talk through your goals and recommend the right sector and course for you.
